my friend from Latvia,
with drawings of opossums that she made,
the result is a poster and a set of opossum
stickers with five reasons to love them (from Alisa)
this is my first collaboration with a person from abroad,

research and brainstorming
we wanted to make a collaborative artwork with Alisa for quite a long time and it finally became possible. we wanted to make something about opossums, because we love those animals!
drafts and work
i made this simple drawing of an opossum as a creative starting point for my further work. Alisa also made her own sketches and sent me this photo of her sketchbook, where she wrote out 5 reasons to love opossums and drew some silly-looking opossums, which I later digitized and turned into a finished design. at the end, i also made a
TV-Girl-inspired artwork of two opossums hugging in blue and pink colors, which were the main colors for this piece.
self-reflection
i really enjoyed this process because it was my first art collaboration with a person abroad, not from my home country. it was also pretty fun learning something new about opossums from Alisa!
inspiration
i was mainly inspired by the Swiss graphic design style in posters and TV-Girl’s "Who Really Cares" album cover style, which i listened to while working on this artwork
